Professional Immersion Program

This is a nine-month program designed to create practical hands on experience for all students. Students will gain real experience working on the set of a Bigfoot feature film with a budget of $1,000,000. The film will be shot on the Red camera and will use Bigfoot Studios' professional postproduction facilities.

Diploma Program in Filmmaking

A comprehensive range of filmmaking proficiencies are covered in our intensive programs. Students work with top-of-the-line equipment to develop and realize short films each term. IAFT also offers internship opportunities, and often job placement, with its affiliate companies. Earn a certificate in five months or a diploma in one year.

Certificate Program in Filmmaking

In two nine-week terms, students will learn basic filmmaking skills including directing, producing, screenwriting, cinematography, editing and sound production.

Certificate Program in Sound Design

In the Film Industry, sound designers, audio editors and mix engineers develop soundtracks for all types of media. Sound designers work specifically with dialog, sound effects and Foley. Mix engineers prepare all three stems (dialog, SFX and music) for a variety of release formats.

Diploma in Acting for the Camera

Students can choose between the two-term certificate program and the four-term diploma program. Both options provide a theoretical and practical approach to acting and require participation in public performances and student film projects. The diploma program is geared for those interested in pursuing a professional acting career.

Certificate in Acting for the Camera

Composed of two nine-week terms, this program offers a holistic approach to acting, movement and voice. Students are required to participate in public performances and, through the program's synergy with the filmmaking curriculum, student film projects.

Custom Group Workshop

Throughout the year, IAFT regularly conducts workshops covering topics such as filmmaking, acting and various media arts. Workshops range in length from a couple days to several weeks and are open to adults, children and those enrolled in full-time programs.

Cebu Workshops

Cebu workshops offer classes such as producing, steadicam, acting, lighting, cinematography, screenwriting, and many more. Classes are held for 8 Mondays, 3 hours per session.

HOng Kong Workshops

Hong Kong workshops will offer classes such as steadicam, acting, lighting, screenwriting, producing, cinematography and many more.
